We have an ACS Hawaii section that you could follow on social media as well.

American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology – The premier professional society for biochemists and molecular biologists. If you more considering a research career in biochemistry or molecular biology, student membership is recommended ($10/yr) to gain access to additional resources. They produce very high-quality news media.

SACNAS – The nation’s largest organization supporting minorities in STEM.

ABRCMS – The Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students is a large community of minority STEM scholars sharing their research and growing professionally.
